Students celebrated the 100th Day of School in numerous ways on Friday, January 29. They were grouping by 1s, 5s, and 10s to go all the way to 100. First graders were seen walking around campus in pairs counting their steps to see how far they traveled with 100. They also completed several 100 Day challenges to buid dixie cup towers, popcicle stick forts, cereal necklaces, and creative drawings. Kindergarteners sorted a variety of 100 objects, created 100 piece straw strings, and made art project self-portraits of what they'll look like at age 100.
We even enjoyed learning from a 100-year old teacher!
