Little Library at St. Mark's

Little Free Library
Take a Book. Share a Book.

St. Mark’s Episcopal Day School is excited and proud to have their very own Little Free Library located near the bike gate path on Baltic Street. A very special thank you to “The Friends of Ortega” for this donation, to Bebe Alexander and to the students of the Class of 2019 for painting the exterior, and to The Reverend Tom Murray, for blessing the Little Free Library.

We are also pleased to announce that Anne Draper, Media Specialist, will serve as the Volunteer Steward. In this role, Anne will be the key contact for the Library patrons and for the Little Library organization. The main goal of the Volunteer Steward is to welcome participation, create and maintain a friendly place in and around the Library, and encourage people of all ages and backgrounds to share.

This library belongs to everyone! Anyone may use it – neighbors, friends, and passersby. The books are always free.

When you are finished with a book, you may pass it along to a friend or return it to this Library or any other Little Free Library.

Your books are always welcome at any Little Free Library. If the St. Mark’s Library is full, there may be another Library nearby that could use them. Especially desired books you recommend to friends, your childhood favorites, and books that teach and spark conversation.
