Teacher an EVE Award Finalist

Third grade teacher, Drew Haramis, is one of twelve women named a Florida Times-Union EVE Award Finalist. She is nominated for her creation of a nonprofit to honor her daughter, Allison, who was killed at age 15 in a 2009 auto accident. The Allison Brundick Haramis Foundation, known as Angels for Allison, helps families who have lost a child with funeral expenses and other costs.

EVE winners will be announced at the awards luncheon on June 8. We're so proud of her accomplishments! Follow this link for more about the awards and Drew's nomination.
