First graders proudly displayed work from their studies of sea animals in the Commons for family and friends. During their lessons, each student was assigned a different creature to study and create several projects about.
The presentation featured a video slideshow, created during their technology classes, which showed each student sharing facts about their animal. Other projects included essays written about the students' own favorite animals, haiku poetry, and colorful portraits. Also on display were dioramas featuring the habitat of their animal along with a clay figurine of the animal that was created in art class.
The students worked very hard on their colorful written projects and showed off their reading skills during this presentation.
