St. Mark’s Episcopal Day School alumna, Annie Daley Pajcic ‘82, founded the ministry, ThouArtExalted. Her passion is to write and design Bible Studies that are infused with artistic creativity inspiring girls and women to LIVE for Jesus.
ThouArtExalted provides art-based Bible studies, free devotions, speaking events, art camps, conferences, and online resources to help women, teen, and tween girls deepen a relationship with Jesus.
While many of our students know her as a frequent speaker delivering the Homily during St. Mark’s chapel services, Annie’s ties to St. Mark’s also extend back to her father, Barnwell R. Daley Jr., who was one of the school’s founding Board Members. Her sister, Muffet Daley Rhyne ‘72, was in the very first graduating class and later returned as a wonderful St. Mark’s faculty member.
Annie is currently leading a six week study, Riding Tandem: Leaning into the Leading of God, on Tuesday mornings and evenings. A group of twenty-three St. Mark’s teachers, staff members, and administrators have voluntarily teamed up to attend the evening sessions.
“I absolutely love studying God's word with so many of my St. Mark's family members,” says second grade teacher, Kelly Risdon. “ It has created a special bond as we all try to apply what we are studying to our daily lives, both at home and at school.”
These faculty and staff members are truly living out one of St. Mark’s Core Values, “The grace of God is our foundation and Christ is at the center of all we do,” by being intentional about choosing to dive into the Word and nurture their relationships with one another.
“My daughter and St. Mark’s alumna, Shelby ‘10, has been involved in Annie's art camps since she began with 20 girls in her living room, so I couldn't wait to be a part of Annie's newest study, Riding Tandem,” said first grade teacher, Julie Gregory. “The best part for me has been getting to hear Annie speak to our group each week about trusting God so He can guide us and we can experience His joy in our lives everyday. What a blessing it has been to be with such loving, gentle ladies, while participating in this special new addition to Annie's ministry.”
