It was a celebration of colors as ELP II students participated in their annual Rainbow Parade!
They have spent the past months devoting a color to every week. For example, red week involved painting with red paint, playing with red play-dough, stacking red blocks, wearing red clothes, kicking red balls, and enjoying red snacks!
The Rainbow Parade allowed the students to show off their knowledge of all colors to the older students around campus. The route wandered by classrooms where other grades had rainbow projects on display in their windows. Students lined the sidewalks to wave rainbow colored scarves (and give hi-fives). A special treat was a trip through the science lab where students were projecting rainbow colors on the ceiling!
