Students celebrated in Art classes the week before Christmas Break with Task Parties. Presented with a challenge and given 45 minutes, students created imaginative and innovative solutions using onlly the materials given to them.
"It was a lot of fun and a lot of chaos," said art teacher, Bebe Alexander. "It's a great way for us to spend a celebratory time and still learn some valuable lessons in creativity and design."
Challenges included building marble slides, bows & arrows, catapults, balloon-powered vehicles, unsinkable ships, and urban planning.
