The Barter Players Perform at St. Mark's

The Barter Players are a group of professional artists who perform world-class theatre for young audiences. The troupe presents high-energy and original productions that capture the imagination while providing the best in the classic literature and beloved story adaptations.

The Barter Players perform at Barter Theatre in Abingdon, VA each April through December. Then, during January, February and March, The Players go on tour, performing at schools all over the Eastern seaboard.

The group presented an adaptation of Madeline L'Engle's, A Wrinkle in Time, for first through sixth grade students on stage in the Lori Schiavone Commons. The hour-long performance was followed by a "talkback" where each actor and actress answered questions from our students. The troup also interacted with the students prior to the performance.
