Students' Birthday Gifts Donated to Library

Two second grade students, Annie A. and Graham S., recently celebrated their birthdays with their classmates. Instead of gifts, the students requested their party guests to bring a book to be donated to the St. Mark's Library. This act of kindness and giving resulted in a wide variety of 50 new children's books being added to the school's collection.

The students surprised Media Specialists, Mrs. Draper and Mrs. Ray, by delivering the books during their library time. The joy and pride the students felt from this act of giving was evident as everyone is now eagerly awaiting their chance to be able to check out the books to take home and read.
