Enrollment Instructions for Current Students

  • Rising ELP 2

    In order to secure your child's spot for the upcoming school year, please complete all steps below by February 10, 2020. Open enrollment for new students will begin Tuesday, February 11 and classes may fill to capacity.

    CHOOSE A CONTRACT
    The contract you have been assigned is based on your child’s current schedule (2, 3, or 5 day). If you wish to change your child’s schedule for next year, please email Kelly Risdon at krisdon@stmarksdayschool.org.

    ENROLLMENT OPTIONS - Academic Year or Full Year 
    You have been assigned an Academic Year and a Full Year contract. Please complete only one.
    • Academic Year enrollment is August 11, 2020 - May 20, 2021.
    • Full Year enrollment will include nine weeks of Camp CREATE summer camp (June 1 - July 31, 2020) with the same schedule your child will attend during the 2020-21 school year. 
    ENROLLMENT INSTRUCTIONS
    1. Review all Enrollment Options and Tuition and Fees on the school's website.
    2. Login to your onCampus account.
    3. If you have forgotten your username or password, please click on the link “Forgot your login? Or first time logging in?”
    4. Click on the “You have: Contract(s) to accept” link in the yellow banner at the top of the page.
    5. Click on the “Review” button next to the specific contract (Academic OR Full Year) and follow the steps.
    REMINDER: Both parents/guardians must login to onCampus using their own user ID and password to complete the enrollment contract for each child. The contract is not fully executed until both parents have signed and the $500 enrollment deposit is paid.
  • Rising Pre-K 3 & 4

    In order to secure your child's spot in Pre-Kindergarten 3 or 4 for the upcoming school year, please complete all steps below by Monday, February 10. Open enrollment for new students will begin Tuesday, February 11 and classes may fill to capacity.

    ENROLLMENT DAYS
    The contract you have been assigned is based on your child’s current enrollment days*. If your child currently attends two days in ELP 2, they have been assigned a three day contract, as this is the minimum number of class days in Pre-K 3. All entering Pre-K 4 students have been assigned five day contracts as this is the minimum number of class days.
    *If you wish to change your child's enrollment days, please contact Kelly Risdon so that she can reassign the corresponding contract.

    ENROLLMENT OPTIONS - Academic Year or Full Year 
    You have been assigned an Academic Year contract and a Full Year contract. Please  complete only one.
    • Academic Year enrollment is August 11, 2020 - May 20, 2021.

    Entering Pre-K 3: Once your child is enrolled, we will follow up on the specific days of the week you would like your child to attend (Monday, Wednesday, Thursday or Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday).

  • Rising Kindergarten - 6th grade

    CONTINUOUS ENROLLMENT

    Your continuous enrollment contract is now available in My Backpack, ESJ’s secure web portal. This contract will remain in effect for the remainder of your child’s time at ESJ. By requiring a contract signature once only, Episcopal strives to make the re-enrollment process easier on families, while streamlining administrative resources.
     
    Key Points for Continuous Enrollment:
    • After this year, you will not need to sign another contract unless enrolling a new student.  
    • To re-enroll each year, if your child is in good academic/behavioral standing and your account is current, you will simply pay the reservation deposit as detailed in writing by the school
    • If your reservation deposit is not received by the due date communicated by the school each year, the school cannot guarantee your child’s space will remain available.
    Please note:
    • Rising Kindergarten students are still eligible to enroll in Camp CREATE Summer Program on the St. Mark’s campus. Please refer to the St. Mark's website (www.stmarksdayschool.org/create) for information and how to register.

    My BackPack: 
    • Families new to Episcopal will receive another email shortly with a school-assigned username and a link to sign in and set up your password.
    • Current Episcopal families may sign in using existing school-assigned usernames.

    Enrollment Deadline: February 10, 2020 
    (contract and deposit due)

    The contract and deposit must be received by the deadline to guarantee your child’s spot for the 2020-2021 school year. For planning purposes, it is important for the school to organize accordingly for class sections and teachers, so we greatly appreciate your cooperation in submitting the contract and deposit on time and/or communicating your change of plans with the Admissions Office. 

    Both Parent Signatures Required: Please note that both parent/guardian signatures are required on enrollment contracts. 

    Separate Households: In cases of separate households, the student must be enrolled under one of the options in ESJ’s Enrollment Policy for Separate Households (PDF).
     

    WITHDRAWAL REMINDERS 

    If you are considering other options or do not intend for your child to return for the 2020-2021 school year, please notify Kelly Risdon, Director of Enrollment, at krisdon@stmarksdayschool.org or (904) 388-2632 x404.

    As a reminder, the financial obligation schedule is as follows:
    • February 10: Non-refundable reservation deposit due to secure spot
    • Canceled contracts after the deposit is submitted will have the following obligations:
      • On or Before May 1: Released from further obligation except for the forfeiture of the reservation deposit
      • May 2 - July 1: 50% of the annual tuition
      • July 2 - August 1: 75% of the annual tuition
      • After August 1: 100% of the annual tuition

  • Tuition Payment Schedules

    You may choose to pay tuition according to four time schedules:
    1. Annual Payment*
    2. Semi-Annual Payments*
    3. Ten Monthly Payments
    4. Full Year Enrollment 12 Monthly Payments (Entering ELP II - K Only)
    * Tuition discounts exist for the Annual and Semi-Annual payment plans.

    Tuition payments will be paid through Smart Tuition by automatic draft or credit card. 
  • The Enrollment Deposit

    The $500 non-refundable enrollment deposit is applied toward tuition and is due at the time of enrollment whether paying annually, semi-annually, or in ten monthly payments.

  • The Supply and Activity Fee

    This fee includes student supplies, workbooks, use of textbooks and software, field trips, and other activities. It does not include a yearbook or expenses for overnight field trips in fifth and sixth grades. The lunch program is billed separately and is optional.
  • Withdrawal Reminders

  • Tuition Refund Plan

    Students enrolling in Pre-K 3 through sixth grade are eligible to purchase a Tuition Refund Plan offered by DEWAR. This plan provides insurance in the case of withdrawal prior to the end of the academic year. The plan provides substantial insurance protection at a modest cost.
