EDP Rates and Registration 2011-2012
Holiday Care EDP Reservation Form 2011-2012
We recognize families have different schedules and needs, and EDP is designed for those who need care for their children beyond the school day. Extended Day is open to all grades until 6:00 p.m. each day school is in session, as well as providing Early Morning Care beginning at 7:15 a.m. We also offer Holiday Care, for an additional fee, on many of the days school is not in session. A holiday reservation form will be provided on our website and in the office at least two weeks prior to the holiday, and it is imperative you complete the form and return it with the required payment, by the designated deadline, in order to secure your child a reservation for any of these holidays.
Early Learning Program I and II
- Early Morning Care (McCarty Early Learning Center): 7:15 a.m.-8:00 a.m. (no extra charge after registration fee has been paid)
- Afternoon Care: 12:00 p.m.-3:15 p.m. OR 12:00 p.m.-6:00 p.m. Lunch, nap, and indoor/outdoor activities are part of the afternoon schedule
- ELP/EDP students must be enrolled a minimum of two afternoons per week.
Pre-Kindergarten I and Pre-Kindergarten II
- Early Morning Care (McCarty Early Learning Center): 7:15 a.m.-8:00 a.m. (no extra charge after registration fee has been paid)
- Lunch Bunch: 12:00 p.m.-1:30 p.m.
- Afternoon Care: 12:00 p.m.-3:15 p.m. OR 12:00-6:00 p.m. Lunch, nap (by parent request) OR rest/story time, art activities, outdoor play and free centers in the afternoon.
Kindergarten-Sixth Grade
- Early Morning Care (Library): 7:15 a.m.-8:00 a.m. (no extra charge after registration fee has been paid)
- Afternoon Care: 3:15 p.m.-6:00 p.m. Outdoor free-play on Berg field and adjacent playground (weather permitting). Games and indoor activities in the Lion’s Den on cold or rainy days. Study Hall, facilitated by the EDP staff, begins at approximately 4:00 p.m. in the Lion’s Den. Games and crafts are available after students complete their homework.
St. Mark’s families have two options when registering for Extended Day:
- Option 1: A consistent EDP schedule is the most economical choice and reserves your child’s space in the program. You may choose the days and times you need your child to stay (see EDP registration form, available in front office or on website, to select options). Fees are calculated based on the number of school days and allocated over nine equal monthly payments. Holiday Care is not included in these payments. If you wish to make any changes in your child’s EDP schedule during the school year, you must make this request by the 20th of the month. All changes in billing and schedule will go into effect the following month. Please call the EDP office at 388-1070 or email abast@stmarksdayschool.org with any schedule changes/requests.
- Option 2: Drop-in care, available PreK I-6th grades, is ideal for those families that anticipate using the program on an occasional basis. To sign up, check the appropriate box on the EDP registration form and pay the registration fee. You must call or email the EDP office at least 24 hours prior to the date you are requesting drop-in care in order to secure a reservation for your child. This is necessary in order to provide appropriate student-teacher ratios.
In order for your child to attend EDP/Early Morning Drop Off, you MUST complete the EDP registration form and return with the registration fee of $30.00 for the first child and $20.00 for each additional child. Several of our grade levels are at capacity, therefore, availability will be based on the date your EDP registration and fee are received.
The Extended Day Program is also available on many school holidays. A holiday reservation form will be provided in the Paw Print two weeks prior to the holiday. It is imperative that you complete this holiday registration form and return it with the required payment for the time your child will be attending EDP during the holidays.
