Pre-Kindergarten

Welcome to a busy and exciting place! Our curriculum strives to educate the total child and promote growth in all areas of development: intellectual, social, physical, spiritual, and emotional. Daily opportunities for creative expression are provided in both classroom and resource classes. A variety of teaching techniques is used to meet the needs of students and to challenge them to become independent thinkers and learners.

Low student-teacher ratios provide for excellent classroom environments. Each classroom has a degreed teacher, as well as a qualified full-time teaching assistant. Pre-primary faculty and staff are certified in CPR and first aid, and have taken a course in Safeguarding God’s Children.

Classrooms and playgrounds are child-centered, and designed for safety and comfort. Each classroom has two exits and a bathroom in the room or adjacent to the room. Each class has access to a kitchen adjacent to its room or in its building. The windows provide for a bright, airy atmosphere, allowing visibility to the outside tree shaded environment. An abundance of teaching materials, supplies, manipulatives, and enthusiastic parental involvement helps to meet the educational needs of each student.
